    Cellist Hee-Young Lim recorded her second CD with Michael Fine: a program of Russian sonatas - Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich - with pianist Nathalia Milstein in Hannover's Leibnizsaal.  The engineer was Jin Choi.

    Two of Michael Fine's productions were nominated

    Two of Michael Fine's productions were nominated for the prestigious Edison Award: Daria van den Bercken's Scarlatti recital (SONY) was nominated for the public prize, while Nathalia Milstein's debut solo CD - music of Prokofiev and Ravel (Mirare) was nominated for the debut award.  Milstein's CD also was awarded the Choc Classica in September.

    Pianist Jaehyuck Cho, after a highly successful

    Pianist Jaehyuck Cho, after a highly successful tour of France, returned to the Leibnizsaal in Hannover to record Chopin's 4 Ballades and Sonata 2 for the French label Evidence.  Michael Fine produced the sessions with engineer Jin Choi.  This is our fourth recording with the celebrated Korean pianist.  SONY will soon announce the release of his debut concerto recording which Michael produced in Glasgow with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Adrien Perruchon, conductor.

    SONY Classics releases cellist Hee-Young Lim's debut

    SONY Classics releases cellist Hee-Young Lim's debut CD recorded in Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, Scott Yoo, conductor.  The program includes concertos by Saint-Saens, Lalo, and Milhaud as well as short pieces by Massenet and Offenbach.  Michael Fine produced, edited and mixed the sessions.     Coming in January, a recording on the French

    Coming in January, a recording on the French label "Evidence", distributed worldwide by Harmonia Mundi (PIAS), of Michael's orchestral music with Philip Mann conducting the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.  The recording was produced by Michael Fine with engineer Jin Choi in Glasgow. Conductor Mann writes in the booklet: 'Fine's music has a sophisticated palette of possibilities that one can't help but think has been formed and sculpted through his myriad experiences from within the orchestra and as a celebrated recording professional working in vast amounts of repertoire.
