  • Michael Fine traveled to Seoul to record the inaugural concerts of the One Korea Orchestra in an all-Beethoven program with Maestro Myung Whun Chung and pianist Seongjin Cho.

    Michael Fine traveled to Seoul to record the inaugural concerts of the One Korea Orchestra in an all-Beethoven program with Maestro Myung Whun Chung and pianist Seongjin Cho.  The program of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Emperor Concerto will be released on Deutsche Grammophon in 2018.  The recording was made in Lotte Hall on the occasion of the second anniversary of the hall's opening.  Jin Choi worked with Michael as balance engineer.

    Fine Sound Productions with Michael Fine producing recorded a particularly beautiful French program with Maestro Emmanuel Villaume, pianist Andrew van Oeyen and the Prague Philharmonia (PKF) in the studios of the Czech Radio.  Along with the rarely heard Debussy Fantaisie for Piano and Orchestra in its revised version along with Bizet's sparkling Symphony in C and the Suite from Ravel's magical Ma Mère L'oye.  Jakub Hadraba was engineer for the sessions.

    We finish post-production on two recordings for Warners Classics: Debussy Chamber Music with Renaud Capuçon, Edgar Moreau, Bertrand Chamayou, Emmanuel Pahud, Marie-Pierre Langlamet, and Gérard Caussé and an album called 'Intuitions' with Gautier Capuçon, pianist Gerald Ducros, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, and conductor Douglas Boyd.
