    Renaud Capuçon, Francois Xavier Roth, and the London Symphony recorded the two Bartok Violin Concertos in LSO St Lukes.  Michael Fine produced the sessions for Warners; Classic Sound provided engineering services.  The recording is already in post-production.

    A collection of Scarlatti's ingenious and inventive Sonatas was recorded by Dutch-Russian pianist Daria van den Bercken for SONY Classics.  Michael Fine produced the sessions in the small hall of the Musikgebouw, Eindhoven, with Erdo Groot, engineer.  The piano technician was Michel Brandjes.  The recording is scheduled for a very quick turnaround and will be released in early November.  This is our third recording with Daria.

    In between Prague and Eindhoven, we returned to one of our favorite recordings venues - the Leibniz Saal (formerly the Beethoven Saal) in Hannover's Congress Centrum for Michael Fine's fifth recording with cellist Mark Kosower, the solo cellist of the Cleveland Orchestra.  The repertoire this time was Brahms: his two cello sonatas as well as the composer's transcription of the Violin Sonata in G - The Raindrop - for cello and piano.  Accompanying Mark on a Bosendoerfer prepared by Gerd Finkenstein was pianist Jee-Won Oh.  Wolf-Dieter Karwatky was engineer for the sessions.

    Michael Fine returns to Glasgow and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra for two recordings in September.  Pianist Jae-Hyuck Cho will record Beethoven's and Liszt's first piano concertos with Adrien Perruchon conducting for SONY Classics. The second recording will feature Michael's own compositions including Suite for Strings, Seasonal Rites, and the Double Concerto with soloists Igor and Vesna Gruppman.  Philip Ryan Mann will conduct the sessions.  Jin Choi will be joining MIchael in the booth as engineer.
