    Post-production is finished on an all Beethoven recording from Seoul's Lotte Hall with pianist

    Post-production is finished on an all Beethoven recording from Seoul's Lotte Hall with pianist Seongjin Cho and Maestro Myung Whun Chung with the One Korea Orchestra.  It was their debut concert and the second anniversary of the opening of the hall.  Michael Fine produced, edited, and mixed the recording.  The engineer at the sessions was Jin Choi.

    Michael Fine has been commissioned by the Arkansas Symphony

    Michael Fine has been commissioned by the Arkansas Symphony to compose a Concerto for Oboe Section to be played at the final subscription concerts of the Orchestra's 2018/19 season on May 4 and 5, 2019 with Philip Mann, music director, conducting and soloists Leanna Renfro, Lorraine Duso Kitts, and Beth Wheeler.  https://www.arkansassymphony.org/news-events/little-night-music.

    Naxos releases Alice K. Dade's first recording

     
    Naxos releases Alice K. Dade's first recording - Living Music - featuring chamber music for flute by living composers Margaret Barker, Dan Coleman, Noam Elkies,Michael Fine, and Aaron Jay Kernis.  Michael Fine's Skipping Stones makes its recorded debut with this release, the is the first appearance of one of Michael's compositions on record!  The disc was recorded at Skywalker Ranch and produced by Leslie Ann Jones.  The score, published by Donemus, is availabe at https://webshop.donemus.nl/action/front/sheetmusic/16500
