    BIS records releases the RE:Orchestra and conductor Roberto Beltran-Zavala's recording of Essential Music: Shostakovich Chamber Symphonies and Eastern European Folk Music.

    BIS records releases the RE:Orchestra and conductor Roberto Beltran-Zavala's recording of Essential Music: Shostakovich Chamber Symphonies and Eastern European Folk Music. The recording will be launched with an event at De Doelen in Rotterdam on 1 November including a performance by the orchestra and the premiere screening of a film about the project. The High Definition recording was produced by Michael Fine with Erdo Groot, engineer.

    Michael Fine is back in Seoul to produce the Seoul Philharmonic's 10th Deutsche Grammophon recording

    Michael Fine is back in Seoul to produce the Seoul Philharmonic's 10th Deutsche Grammophon recording conducted by Myung Whun Chung. Repertoire is the Brahms 4th Symphony and Brahms 4 Pieces, op. 119 with Maestro Chung at the piano. The recording will be made the Goyang Cultural Centre.

    Warners/Erato recording of Lalo, Bruch, and Sarasate with violinist Renaud Capuçon, Paavo Jarvi, and the Orchestre de Paris

    Post production is complete on the new Warners/Erato recording of Lalo, Bruch, and Sarasate with violinist Renaud Capuçon, Paavo Jarvi, and the Orchestre de Paris, recorded in the new Philharmonie. The recording will be released in January. Michael Fine produced, edited, and mixed the recording. The recording is a co-production with Radio Classique who provided the technical team at the sessions: Aurelie Messonier and Aude-Marie Piloz. Sennheiser graciously provided two pairs of their 'Twin' microphones.

    Bryan Hymel has won the Echo Award

    Heroique: French Heroic Tenor Arias with Bryan Hymel and the Prague Philharmonia conducted by Emmanuel Villaume has won the German Echo Award for 'Best Newcomer.' Congratulations to the artists and the recording team: producer Michael Fine and engineer Jin Choi.

    Pianist Norman Krieger records Brahms Piano Sonata..

    Pianist Norman Krieger records Brahms Piano Sonata Nr. 1, Op.1in Berlin's famous Jesus-Christus Kirche. The recording will complete his all Brahms program - begun with a recording of the composer's 2nd Piano Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Phillip Ryan Mann. Michael Fine will produce with tonmeister Wolf-Dieter Karwatky. The piano will be supplied by Gerd Finkenstein.
